@  Cody Ford : (27 September 2017 - 04:42 PM) Makes sense
@  montymbad : (27 September 2017 - 10:11 AM) now that'll teach me to not proofread my posts shouldnt be hectares should be square kilometers.
@  montymbad : (27 September 2017 - 10:10 AM) hahahaha....teach me to miss a zero....last measurement i had seen was 7500 hectares.....guess that was an overestimate still.
@  Cody Ford : (25 September 2017 - 10:51 AM) The for mac fire once it was finally put out was just shy of 600,000 hectares
@  montymbad : (06 September 2017 - 08:01 PM) no it didn't start another fire thank christ.  BUT the elephant hill fire (started in ashcroft so its moved over 70km so far) is still roaring, it will be over 200,000 hectares once they reasses the fire lines.  That makes 3 fires burning that are over 200,000 hectares.  But one of those is over 500,000 hectares.  For reference the fire that nailed fort Mac was around 75,000 hectares.
@  Twister : (05 September 2017 - 05:06 PM) The fires are just crazy. did that meteor that hit yesterday start another one?
@  Twister : (05 September 2017 - 05:05 PM) Seems like a club. Pretty sure one day it'll come around. At least I hope so. My weeds turned into 7 foot tall sweet clover. I have to get it cut down before it snows or the snow drifts into the clover making a cement wall with rebar in it. My plow just gets stuck in it. I have to re do my roof because it leaks like a seive and I still have to re arrange my shop while i can still move in and out the door. Squeeze a build in here and there in my spare time.
@  montymbad : (01 September 2017 - 03:26 PM) I'm in the cariboo, 100 Mile house specifically.  Right now we have the elephant hill fire threatening highway 24 in the sheridan lake area.  I need some fucking snow sooner than later lol.  I'm so busy working on my house, and tractors to get the house done, that I haven't been able to get anything done on my B2.  as much as it sucks, I'm glad i'm not the only one that can't seem to get ahead right now.
@  CHEMMINS : (31 August 2017 - 07:36 PM) New builds would be great. Lovin the Dodge joints....need a set myself. This economy is killing me though. Cant afford to get ahead.
@  Twister : (30 August 2017 - 06:37 PM) no new builds other than Tylers little ranger. It's pretty fun. Takes a lickin keeps on ticking. Caruthers re do is on the horizon and Son of Sam just got the dust knocked off it. For the most part I've been designing ball joints. That and we've been building tons and tons of rod ends. Just busy. I'm going to start on my M715 I think. I need something to relax with.
@  Twister : (30 August 2017 - 06:33 PM) Seems like everyone I know is either on fire or under water. Glad you're all okay. I could leave here for more than a day or so. I'd lose it. Where are you at in B.C.? I think I'm gonna start heading out that way more. I went to vancouver on a parts run a few weeks back. Drove there dropped the parts came back. Nice break to get to sit for once.
@  montymbad : (28 August 2017 - 10:01 AM) All back and squared away.  Glad it wasn't like some places that are just getting back now.  People think, oh its like a vacation.  Its not, probably the most stressful time of my life.  Yeah there are lots of services to help out, but in the end it is what it is.  I couldn't imagine if I had deep roots here, or lots of memories tied up in my house how I would feel.  Would have been way worse.
@  CHEMMINS : (10 August 2017 - 09:27 PM) Well I hope you get squared away quick. I couldn't imagine leaving everything behind
@  montymbad : (31 July 2017 - 11:19 PM) 12 days....came back 3 days early to help set work back up (had to have the grocery store running before the town officially reopened).  Now we are waiting on the elephant hill fire, its already come 2/3rds of the way here.  Supposed to be super hot and super dry and windy.
@  CHEMMINS : (30 July 2017 - 01:00 PM) Dang. How long you been put out?
@  montymbad : (29 July 2017 - 09:58 AM) Back home after being evacuated from the wildfires here in BC.  NOw it looks like the one that caused my evac has flared up and jumped the line.  Hurry up and wait to see if its real, or just people overreacting to the smoke.  LOL.
@  CHEMMINS : (22 July 2017 - 05:58 PM) Any new builds in the shop?
@  CHEMMINS : (02 June 2017 - 06:33 PM) Ah! thought the forum was gne....I tried for a long time then gave up.....good to see it back. Spread the word!
@  montymbad : (07 April 2017 - 11:56 AM) I agree facebook destroys all the good info...see more booty fab on there that is celebrated and copying of ideas without a thought to anything new, or how or why or what might be better.  LOTS of yelling my balls are bigger on there.  I've left all the fab, offroad and vehicle groups I belong to on there because of it.  It always turns into a personal attack it seems.  Way to go Erin!
@  Twister : (07 April 2017 - 10:54 AM) and Erin got the internet to work on my shop computer again.
