Well we've been talking about it for quite a while but it finally got started this weekend. Might not look like much yet and the tubing needs some cleaning up it should be pretty cool when its done.

The under carriage seems to be way too deep. You want the seats to be right down along side the transmission to go fast. Look at Erik's and Kris Fraser build pictures. They are lower.
If you watched the Power Hour for KOH 2013 those cars are all really low, most of them were IFS also.
Sorry for the criticism.

The belly did end up a bit deeper than we wanted but only by about 2'' (which is alot) and we'll be changed up

kinda going for a Jimmy's 4x4 style belly because we don't want to run a 2 piece front shaft

we can't really get away with that super low style belly because we are going with a NP205 t case which has about a 4'' lower front out put than the average atlas set up
don't mind giving up a little bulk for a little more extra space, 10lbs of goodies in a 5lb bag is great but horrible to work on we're going to but 10lbs of parts in an 8lb bag and see how it goes

don't be worried about criticism i'm not going to send you a hurt feelings report lol

Could you clock that T-Case to get your belly up?
The hood line looks tall too.. are you going to have visibility issues.
Looks like your going to have enough room under the hood for a couple 24's ;)

The belly got cut off last night and reworked. We ended up going with 2x2x.250wall square for the bottom belly section and got it down almost 4 1/2'' to the floor. it's now 15 1/2'' from the bottom of the belly to the top of the tubing under the seats.

We're getting our feet wet with this one, following ultra 4 spec as much as possible but not sure if this chassis will actually see a legit race.

The plan is to race when and where we can for the 2014 season tho.

Are you going to stick with the NP205 or go to an ATLAS?

The pictures make it look huge! How big is it?

Tire size?

Fuel injection?

Some more details would be nice :)

We're running the 205 because an atlas is 3 grand lol

Tires will likely be 40's

The engine hasn't really been decided on yet for sure, sbc of some sort. That'll likely be the last big ticket item bought.

Can't beat a junkyard LS if you're sticking to a budget...

He's still deciding what direction he's going to go but Joey keeps saying that 500hp is going to be his bottom line so we'll see what happens :)

How much do you want for a 6.0 long block? would you sell one as a short block?
