Just so everybody knows. Rocky Mountain Off Road built the cage and and fenders. It was Marks jeep originally and was built up on a dana 44 and 9 inch. It had a different link and shock set up as well. I cut almost everything out including the frame from just behind the seat back . We put a power glide/stak combo in it. Did the hydro steer with one of our old rams .I sheeted the diffs and did the rear frame work . It's an awsome unit.

Random bit to ad to the kickass jeep. I bought the old 302 from it, never used it and ended up selling it to Al (alstick) from Can4wd magazine.

Whats it got for an engine now?

It's a chevy small block v-8. Throttle body I think. Can't remember. I'm still digging through the builds and pictures.I'll see what I can find.

Yeah I've always hoped he would enter ttc. He's a pretty kick ass driver.

I havent been on here for ages and the first thing that pops up is my jeep. Nice! Yes it has a 383 stroker. Clayton did an amazing job on the build, he went way beyond my expectations.

The first roll over was pretty awesome. No damage what so ever, not even a dent in the hood. I figured I was gonna go over backwards the second time as well, so I practiced drive to reverse a few times as the pistol grip was a little difficult to get in reverse. But its a little harder to find reverse when the time comes. Since then Ive shaved off the tabs. The second roll over mangled the hood, bent all the bars out front, smashed the spot lights, and kinked the frame on both sides where the old boxed frame still exists. I guess I should have bowed out and took the easy route. The frame is straightened and reinforced and its ready to go. Just need to find the time to drive it.

These are the pictures from the build that have been recovered since the great site wipeout of 2011.

The origional back of the YJ.

Although we added a ton of weight by using the giant links, large rod ends, 2 1/2 ton diffs and extra plating. We pulled a ton of weight off the vehicle by removing useless crap, like the massive wrack that did nothing more than take up room itself, or the floor that was raised for the shock mounts. The shock mounts that took up cargo room in the rear of the vehicle etc....

Once the parts were cut out the fun began. The frame rail got a little more than we had planned. It kind of looked like a DNA string
