I see these all over the internet Genisus? Does anyone know anything about them

Or where to get these? I had this pattern on my Unimog years ago and they never stopped going forward. I couldn't tell you how they worked in reverse because like I said they never stopped.

I want to get something in the 37 to 40 " range narrow like a 11" or 10  12 if I have to. They're for the M715

The top tire are made by a company named Simex

http://www.simextyre...mex-offroad.asp

From what I've read the biggest size is a 35" also from what I understand simex has zero interest in breaking into US markets so it pretty tough to find any around here.

If you want some deep lug R2 tires like the bottom one I have a load of BKT TR 171's coming sometime this month. 33" - 50" sizes

Oh so you ordered more than what people gave orders for. Cool I was wondering . There's been guys kicking around asking. I told them you were brining them in.

Ya I figured it would be a good idea, I'm ordering them right from India so the lead time is 3-4 months, pretty hard to get so one to wait that long unless it's the beginning of winter or something. Monday I was informed that the order was on the water so it wil still be a few more weeks.

Here are the sizes I have coming with retail prices
9.5 X 16 (33")- $1145/set 4
11.2 x 20 (40")-$1664/ set 4
12.4 x 24 (46")- $2130/set 4
14.9 x 24 (50")-$2880/set 4

Now those above are recaps, but they have started making their own tires new, if you check out their brazil site (this is where they are from: http://www.geniustyr...norante-4/cvml) you'll see the other options they have.  They do ship to north america as well.

Monty, that was $700/ tire to your door, correct?

I've seen those Genius tires and they look pretty cool, have you seen many guys in North America running them? It would be interesting to hear how they work and stand up?

Seen a few bouncers run them, but haven't heard much on how they did, that said considering on where they run these (in the south america rain forests) I wouldn't hesitate to run them.  I'd run the first tire I posted on a mud truck over a bogger any day of the week.

First is a Simex (I remember reading they used to be a sister company to Interco). Second looks like the old Firestone, Coker tire does a reproduction but doesn't go very big. Then third is a Yokohama Geolander ( I believe they go to a 40, 37 for sure and available locally) with what looks like another Simex or ripoff. Forth I've seen before but can't remember, I think they were from Indonesia or something and only came in 33's and under. Fifth is a Superior traction.

Tires are one of those things for me that just get me excited like I did Christmas morning seeing presents under the tree when I was a kid

Stumbled across these in my internet travels.

http://www.atgtire.c...ils.aspx?id=724

They're a cheaper overseas brand tire, I believe a few places like carry them as their "house" brand.
